Products and Pallet Condition
Learn about liquidation stock, manifests, grades and product expectations.
What does Pallet Town sell?
Pallet Town sells liquidation pallets, customer-return pallets, overstock merchandise, shelf-pull stock, mixed wholesale lots and other bulk resale inventory.
What is a liquidation pallet?
A liquidation pallet is a bulk lot of merchandise sold below typical retail value. It may contain customer returns, excess stock, discontinued items, shelf-pulls or mixed products in varying condition.
Are all products brand new?
No. Product condition depends on the lot. Some pallets may contain new overstock, while others may include opened, returned, used, incomplete, cosmetically marked, untested or non-working products.
What is a customer-return pallet?
Customer-return pallets contain goods previously returned to a retailer. Items may have been returned for reasons including change of mind, damaged packaging, missing accessories, cosmetic wear or a functional issue.
What is overstock merchandise?
Overstock is surplus inventory that a retailer or supplier no longer requires. It may be new or unused, although packaging can show storage, handling or label wear.
What does shelf-pull mean?
Shelf-pull items have been removed from retail shelves. They may have price stickers, packaging wear, display marks, discontinued branding or minor cosmetic imperfections.
What is a manifested pallet?
A manifested pallet includes a list of expected products, quantities or estimated values where that information is available. Customers should review any manifest notes, condition codes and qualifications before ordering.
What is an unmanifested pallet?
An unmanifested pallet does not include a complete itemised list. Exact brands, models, quantities and product conditions may not be known before purchase.
Are estimated retail values guaranteed?
No. Estimated retail values are provided for general reference only unless expressly guaranteed in writing. They do not guarantee current market value, resale price, demand or profit.
Can I inspect a pallet before purchasing?
Inspection availability depends on the warehouse, stock type and current access arrangements. Contact our sales team before travelling to any depot or warehouse.
Orders and Quotations
Answers about placing orders, availability, confirmation and bulk purchases.
How do I place an order?
You may order through our website or contact our sales team for availability, freight and invoice assistance. Review the product description, condition, total price and delivery details before paying.
Does adding a pallet to my cart reserve it?
No. Stock is generally secured only after the order has been accepted and any required payment has been received. Liquidation inventory can be limited and may sell quickly.
When is my order officially confirmed?
An order is confirmed after stock, payment and delivery requirements have been checked and Pallet Town issues an order confirmation, accepted invoice or other written acceptance.
Can I request a quotation before purchasing?
Yes. Send the product or pallet type, quantity, delivery suburb, postcode and site-access details to our sales team for a quotation.
Do you accept bulk or multiple-pallet orders?
Yes, subject to stock availability. Multiple-pallet and truckload orders require a separate freight assessment rather than the standard single-pallet flat rate.
Can Pallet Town substitute an unavailable pallet?
We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement. If stock becomes unavailable, we may offer a comparable alternative, replacement, store credit where voluntarily accepted, or a refund.
Payments and Invoices
Current payment methods, security checks, receipts and payment information.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Pallet Town currently accepts Bank Transfer and Osko. Credit-card payments are currently unavailable.
Do you accept credit cards?
Credit-card payment facilities are currently unavailable. Do not email card numbers, expiry dates or card security codes to Pallet Town.
How do I pay by Bank Transfer?
Use the account name, BSB, account number and payment reference shown on your authorised Pallet Town invoice. Always verify unexpected changes before transferring funds.
How quickly are Osko payments received?
Osko payments are usually received in near real time between participating banks. Individual payments may still be delayed by bank limits, first-time-payee holds or security reviews.
Why must I include an invoice or order reference?
The reference helps us identify your payment and match it to the correct order. Missing or incorrect references may delay payment confirmation and dispatch.
Do you provide invoices and receipts?
Yes. Pallet Town provides an invoice, receipt or payment confirmation as appropriate for the order and payment method.
What should I do if payment details change unexpectedly?
Do not transfer funds until the change has been independently verified using the contact information published on our website. Payment-redirection scams can involve altered invoices or compromised email accounts.
Shipping and Delivery
Delivery timeframes, flat-rate eligibility, site access and damaged freight.
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery is estimated at 5–7 business days after payment, stock allocation and delivery requirements have been confirmed.
How much is standard shipping?
Standard flat-rate shipping is A$399 for one eligible standard pallet delivered to a qualifying Australian mainland metro or selected regional address.
Does the A$399 flat rate apply everywhere in Australia?
No. Remote areas, offshore islands, Tasmania, multiple pallets, oversized freight, dangerous goods and deliveries requiring specialised equipment need a separate quotation.
Do you deliver to residential addresses?
Residential delivery may be available where the site is safe and accessible for the nominated freight vehicle and any required unloading equipment.
What access information should I provide?
Tell us about narrow roads, gates, steep or soft ground, overhead powerlines, low branches, restricted delivery times, loading docks, site inductions and unloading requirements.
Will I receive tracking information?
Where available, we or the carrier may provide a dispatch notice, consignment number, estimated delivery date or delivery window. Pallet freight tracking may show milestones rather than live vehicle location.
What happens if delivery is delayed?
We will take reasonable steps to provide an updated estimate when a material delay becomes known. Delays may be caused by weather, road closures, carrier congestion, remote access or other circumstances outside reasonable control.
What should I do if my pallet arrives damaged?
Photograph the pallet before removing the wrapping, record visible damage on the delivery document where possible, retain packaging and contact us promptly with the order number and evidence.
Returns, Refunds and Cancellations
Return eligibility, refund timing, faulty goods and order cancellations.
What is your change-of-mind return period?
Eligible change-of-mind return requests must be submitted within 30 calendar days after delivery or collection and are subject to our Returns and Refunds Policy.
How long do approved refunds take?
Approved refunds are processed as soon as reasonably practicable and within no more than 14 business days after approval and satisfaction of applicable return conditions.
Can I return part of a pallet?
A voluntary change-of-mind return generally requires the pallet or lot to remain complete. Returns may be refused if products have been removed, resold, dismantled or materially altered.
Who pays return freight?
Customers generally pay return freight for approved change-of-mind returns. Costs for faulty or non-compliant goods are handled according to Australian Consumer Law.
What if the goods are faulty or misdescribed?
Contact us with your order number and supporting evidence. A repair, replacement, refund or other remedy may apply depending on the problem and Australian Consumer Law.
Can I cancel an order before dispatch?
Contact us promptly. An order that has not been allocated, prepared, dispatched or committed to a carrier may ordinarily be cancelled and refunded.
